Entry 58 of Hunan’s notice dated 8 September 2023, published on 12 September, links the latter to CASIC (Changsha) New Materials Research Institute Co., Ltd. The confirmed new Chinese name omits 产业 (industry). Certificate GR202043000256 was issued on 11 September 2020; that date is not the renaming date. The notice does not establish the precise corporate-registration change date.

The July 2017 report describes a wholly state-owned company established in December 2015 with funding from Hunan Aerospace Industrial Corporation, reorganized as Hunan Aerospace Co., Ltd. by the report date. It records CNY 100 million in registered capital and 6,200.66 square metres of research and office space at 27 Wenxuan Road, Changsha. These historical figures do not establish current ownership percentages, paid-in capital or capital expenditure.

The July 2017 environmental report submitted for approval identifies Changsha New Materials Industry Research Institute as developer of a proposed polyimide pilot line in Yueyang’s Changling industrial park. Planned total investment was CNY 15 million, with design capacity of 10 tonnes per year, a 1,800-square-metre site and an 800-square-metre production building. This is separate from the CNY 100 million registered-capital figure. Construction approval, actual spending, completion acceptance, current utilization and satellite orders have not been verified.
