Privacy policy

The OrbitRabbit operator handles personal information in accordance with Japan's Act on the Protection of Personal Information and related laws.

1. Information collected

• Registration: email address, display name and password stored as a hash.
• Payment: the customer ID managed by Stripe. Credit-card numbers are not stored on our server.
• Access logs: IP address, date and time, and pages viewed.

2. Purposes

• Authentication, account administration and plan management.
• Payment processing and billing communications.
• Detection and prevention of misuse.
• Statistical analysis to improve the service.

Research updates

We store your email address, language, consent wording and dates, email confirmation, delivery and unsubscribe records for public research updates, usage guides and plan information. Site membership does not automatically subscribe you. Every update includes an unsubscribe link. Replies pause automated follow-ups.

We use Google's email service for delivery and a keyed representation of the requesting IP address to limit abusive requests. Unsubscribe records prevent unwanted re-sending. Contact support@orbitrabbit.com for access, correction or deletion requests.

Business enquiries

We store your organization, email address, language, intended use, message, submission time, referring-page identifier and handling status to respond to your enquiry and discuss a proposal. Submitting this form does not subscribe you to marketing updates. A keyed representation of the requesting IP address limits abuse. Enquiries and backups are private; Google mail services deliver receipt notifications to the operator. Contact support@orbitrabbit.com for access, correction or deletion requests.

Website analytics (Google Analytics)

Updated 13 September 2026. If you select “Allow analytics”, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google LLC. Cookie identifiers, pages viewed, referral sources and device/browser information are sent to Google for statistical analysis to improve the site. Analytics cookies expire after at most 180 days. Your choice is saved in your browser.

We do not configure email addresses or account IDs in analytics, and advertising features are disabled. Login, account, checkout and administration pages are excluded. Ordinary query parameters and fragments are removed from page URLs; only character-restricted UTM campaign parameters are retained.

You can use the site without allowing analytics. Change or withdraw your choice using “Analytics preferences” in the footer. Withdrawal removes this site's GA4 cookies. See Google's privacy policy and how Google uses data.

3. Third parties

Personal information is not provided to third parties without your consent except where required by law. The minimum necessary information is entrusted to Stripe, Inc. for payment processing.

4. Retention and security

Passwords are stored as irreversible hashes. Access logs are deleted after retention for up to one year. The server is protected by appropriate access controls.
