From a company name to a source-backed research note

  1. Locate the relevant entity. Start with the public directory and organizational relationships to distinguish the group, institute and operating business.
  2. Review the published analysis. Follow named manufacturing roles, disclosed awards and capital claims to their sources. Dates and evidence gaps help you judge whether a record is usable for the question at hand.
  3. Reuse the research within your team. Return to the available profiles for subsequent sector reviews and internal briefings. One Professional subscription covers up to three named users within one legal entity.

The free examples below show our method. The subscription provides access to the published research library; it does not commission a new investigation for each question. Check the available profiles and language coverage before subscribing.

Free examples: an equipment supplier, an investment platform and a spacecraft manufacturer

1. A procurement award is evidence of a supplier relationship

Disclosed fact. A 29 June 2026 government procurement notice identifies CETC's 54th Research Institute as supplier of a fixed non-geostationary satellite monitoring receiver system. The published award value is CNY 8.19 million; the purchaser is the State Radio Monitoring Center. [1]

Research implication. This establishes a named equipment supplier and purchaser. It does not establish recognized revenue, cash collection, profit margin or earnings attributable to a listed affiliate.

Next checks. Acceptance milestones, payment schedule, subcontractors and the legal entity included in the investor's model.

2. Fund management scale is not deployed space capital

Disclosed fact. A CASIC Asset Management recruitment notice published by SASAC on 1 June 2026 describes 11 funds and management scale exceeding CNY 10 billion. It also describes integrated operation with Shenzhen Aerospace Industrial Technology Research Institute from April 2025. [2]

Research implication. The fund figure should not be entered as cash invested in satellites or as capital expenditure. Integrated operation alone does not prove a legal merger.

Next checks. Committed versus paid-in capital, actual deployments, outside limited partners and the entities' legal status.

Source locator: company introduction and industrial investment funds. Entity record →

3. Spacecraft manufacturing does not establish asset ownership

Disclosed fact. CAST's 20 May 2018 account identifies Beijing Satellite Manufacturing Co., Ltd. as providing structural panels, solar wings, connection rings, heat pipes and structural assembly for Queqiao. [3]

Research implication. The manufacturing role does not establish ownership of the satellite or entitlement to its operating income. The supplier, system contractor and operator require separate records.

Next checks. Contracting entity, ownership and usage rights, contract value, and related-party transactions.

Source locator: manufacturing responsibilities in the article body. This is a historical manufacturing example. Entity record →

A public-source inventory is not a census of every Chinese legal entity. Administrative relationships, entrusted management and equity ownership are recorded with distinct notes. Public-source research supports your own diligence; it does not provide valuation advice or access to non-public information.
